From Goolwa cruise through the lock in the Goolwa Barrage and on downstream to the Murray Mouth. Watch for the colony of NZ fur seals as you cruise from the lock down the last few kilometres of the Murray River and across The Mouth into the sheltered waters of the internationally recognised Coorong National Park. See spectacular bare white sand dunes, heavily vegetated dunes and prolific migratory and native wetland birdlife as the captain provides an entertaining and informative commentary on the passing scenes and the aboriginal and european history of the area. Stop for guided walk(s) into the dune system and enjoy a delicious lunch as you cruise further into the Coorong.
